Tinubu Support Group Launches Nationwide Spiritual Intercession Campaign

Hundreds of supporters of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu under the umbrella of the ‘Asiwaju Beyond 2023 Project’ in Abuja on Wednesday kicked off the national campaign with a session of pray.

The event brought together one of the APC’s 23 other presidential candidates, Senator Ajayi Borrofice, who resigned for Senator Tinubu in the party’s primaries held in June 2022 at Eagle Square, Abuja.

In his goodwill message, Senator Boroffice noted that the 23 aspirants cannot land the presidential ticket, hence his resolve to stand down for Senator Tinubu given his leadership qualities and background.

“Out of all 23 aspirants, one person will be a candidate and then we have to assess our strength and also the background of other people. I have been with Asiwaju for a long time and I know that he is the person who can make and save the economy. , who can provide leadership that will solve the problems of our country.

“So I had no choice but to step down and support him. I support him with all my heart and with all my might. I’m on a number of platforms in my state, it’s i.e. the Tinubu mass movement, I created “Yoruba Koya” which is taking place in the country to seek its support.

“I have other platforms that I belong to which I cannot tell you for security reasons because this election is going to be strategic, it is going to be scientific that we have to do a lot of information analysis and plan strategies. Not just going around and wearing T-shirts, no this election is going to be very strategic. We have to do a lot of analysis and I belong to a number of platforms where we do that,” he said. note.

While responding to a question about the public outcry following the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket adopted by the APC, Senator Boroffice said, “Just as Bishop Kukah said, we are not looking for a religious messiah, we we are looking for a leader who can lead Nigeria, who can provide leadership, who can solve Nigeria’s problems, even if you can bring him from America if our constitution allows it, let him come. But we have one in Nigeria. We have Asiwaju in Nigeria and with his track record he can do it so why shouldn’t we support him.

In an effort to ensure the peaceful conduct of the 2023 general elections, especially among the youth, Senator Boroffice stressed the need to persuade and advocate that violence will not pay off and this is very important.

“Of course, security organizations are also active in ensuring that issues that may cause violence are not important.”

“We saw everything a leader of this country should have. And we took it upon ourselves to start spreading Asiwaju’s virtues, beliefs and political philosophy 30 years ago, even when he himself was unaware that he was going to run for president. .

“We have started engaging Nigerians across the country, established structures across the country in all local governments and wards in Nigeria.

“And when it became clear that he was going to run in the 2023 presidential election, we created Asiwaju Project Beyond 2023 as a vehicle through which we can engage Nigerians and solicit votes for Asiwaju.
