“We know there are a lot of people who love and support the library and who might want to come out and get involved in the work we do.”

Evans tells EverythingGP that they are having their first-ever GPPL membership drive on Saturday, January 15 from 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. to get more people involved.
“We’re hoping to bring in other people who maybe have a project or something they’d like to do at the library, or a fundraising idea; or even if they are involved in other community groups or organizations and think they would benefit from learning more about the library and would like to contact us about this as well.
He says community members of all ages can sign up to volunteer with the group.
“A lot of groups like this with libraries will have a subgroup within them that is for kids. So if someone wanted to take it on and create a kid-focused group of champions.
